Cultivating Emotional Resilience with Bright Morning

The WREN is excited to announce additional opportunities in partnership with Bright Morning.

Taste of Cultivating Emotional Resilience

Education is a physically and emotionally demanding field, and successful educators must intentionally develop their own resilience to thrive. This 4-hour workshop will provide anyone in the education field with the tools to do just that: 1) Explore the habits and dispositions of resilient educators outlined in Onward: Cultivating Emotional Resilience in Educators, 2) Spend time learning about yourself and develop a deeper awareness and understanding of your emotions, and 3) Use this new awareness to help recognize opportunities to cultivate flexibility in yourself and ways to continue to build your elasticity throughout your life.

The Taste of Cultivating Emotional Resilience Workshop is a one-day training, 4 hours of the actual workshop, and 30-60 minutes of break time. Before the seminar, all workshop participants must have their own copies of Onward and The Onward Workbook. ALL participants will receive $360 for attending the workshop, this covers $300 for attending the workshop and $60 for book purchases.

Your Regional Educator Network (REN) will offer this workshop twice this summer, and participants are also encouraged to attend the Onward Book Study that begins in August.
